How to study consistently for long hours? Here are some tips and techniques

If you are a heavy procrastinator and tend to lose focus immediately then this technique isn't productive or helpful.

FLOMODORO is a better techinque.

For example: I studied with my full focus till 45 minutes after that I started losing my concentration. Then I take a break.

How I calculate my break time suitably?

Dividing the amount of time I studied my 5. Like dividing 45/5. So now I will take a break of 9 minutes only. In the next session suppose I study for 55 minutes. Then my break time will be of 11 minutes.

In this technique first, you have to not depend on certain time periods but depend on your FOCUS AND CONCENTRATION. According to that only you can have a break limit.

This technique improves brain Function, Concentration, Focus, and Memory Power exponentially compared to the Pomodoro technique. This technique breaks the cycle of procrastination, irregular study cycles, and poor retention power too.

Instead of planning to memorize chapters, paragraphs, and diagrams of all subjects, plan to memorize chunks of content for subjects.

For example, instead of planning to memorize the entire Plant Kingdom, plan to first retention the initial parts of Various Plants and their habitats.

Slowly move on to complete the chapter, thoroughly reading each page step by step.

Make Flash Cards.

Continous mugging up would make the study activities boring or lead to burnout. Hence make flashcards, notes, or self-made questions on important para.

Quiz yourself, take small tests after each study session of a subject. This will motivate you for further study, increase your memory power, helps in retention, and also keep you excited for further studying.

Little but important things too

• Give your phone to your parents or switch it off and place it in the locker. Hand those keys to your mother. Works every time.

Use your wristwatch or normal table watch for mapping the time.

• Clear your desks before studying.

Gather your notes, textbooks, and references just before studying.

. Sit in a comfortable position.

Do not take your phone in mini- breaks. Instead, close your eyes and focus on your breath.

• Plan the order in which you want to study and strike them out after completing it. It creates a scenario of a sport, which keeps you excited for more.

Write a well-wishing note to yourself after each study session. Self-praise increases self-worth.
